Brighton Park Golf Club Highlights

Congratulations to Bill Baum. On Sunday July 9, Bill had his first hole in one on #15 using a 6 hybrid.

Congratulations to our reigning Club Champion, Dan Giliforte who recently shot a "63". This is  a new course record at Brighton.

I would like to thank everyone that participated in the 2017 B.P.G.C. Invitational,(we had 104 golfers) and all the others that helped out. This event takes months of hard work to put together and I hope I don't miss anyone. If I do I apologize if I missed someone, it doesn't mean that your contributions were not appreciated. We hope all will consider returning for next year's event.

Paul Wzontek who set up the whole tournament, arranging lunches and where we would have dinners.

Bill Howells who came in and worked the check in table on Sunday

Tom Emborsky who worked the check in table Saturday

Rob Coppola helped out at the check in table for a while on Saturday before he went out to play

Kevin Backstrom and Chris Baum did their usual great job with the scoring for the tournament.

All other board members who pitched in during the organizing and preparation for the tournament.

Exit 2 for providing lunch on Saturday

The Knights of Columbus for hosting Saturday's dinner

Devlin's Deuce for lunch on Sunday

The Grill at The Dome for hosting dinner on Sunday

All the course employees, (starters, cashiers, ranger, counter girls and the course maintenance crew) for making sure the course was in great playing condition after some heavy rain earlier in the week.

Last but not least, Mrs. Krieger for volunteering to hand out lunches to our golfers.

Results are posted on the Club Latest Page
